Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Fluxology, Inc. corporate website at fluxology.ca, including its contact form and company-operated web tools. Fluxology also develops software applications. Where a released application has data practices that differ from this website, the product page and application will provide the additional product-specific disclosures required for that application.

2. Information submitted through the website

If you send an inquiry through the Fluxology contact form, we receive the information you choose to provide. The form currently asks for your full name, email address, inquiry topic and message, and optionally accepts a company name and phone number.

We use this information to receive, review and respond to inquiries; maintain appropriate business records; troubleshoot the contact service; and protect the website from abuse. We do not sell contact-form information.

3. Browser-local data in Fluxology web tools

Some Fluxology research dashboards store personal workflow state and notes in your browser's local storage. For example, supported dashboards may remember whether you marked a listing as saved, contacted, purchased, rejected or otherwise reviewed. Where a tool states that a field is browser-local, that personal workflow state is not part of the server-side listing feed.

Clearing the relevant site's browser storage removes that browser-local state. Exported workspace files are controlled by the person who exports them.

4. Software applications

Fluxology's iOS applications are currently in development. Before public release, Fluxology will document the actual data practices of each application, including what data the app collects, how it is used, any sharing with service providers or third-party software components, retention and deletion practices, and available privacy choices.

This policy does not claim that an unreleased application collects data that its final build does not collect, and it does not substitute for product-specific disclosures where an application's final functionality requires them.

5. Service providers and disclosures

Fluxology may use service providers to operate website infrastructure, deliver email, store business records, provide security or perform other technical functions. Information is provided to those services only as reasonably necessary for the relevant function. Fluxology may also preserve or disclose information where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of its systems.

6. Retention and deletion

Contact and business records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, for legitimate recordkeeping needs, or to satisfy applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion or correction of personal information associated with an inquiry by contacting Fluxology at the address below. A request may be limited where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business records.

7. Security

Fluxology uses technical and administrative measures intended to protect information under its control. No networked system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so information should not be submitted through the public contact form if it requires a specialized confidential channel.
